Our Story

Smokes N’ Things is a family‑owned business built with dedication, hard work, and a passion for serving our local communities. Our journey began in 2018, when the idea for our first store took shape and construction for our Spearfish location began. After months of planning and building, we proudly opened our doors in January 2019, marking the beginning of what would become a growing regional brand.

As support from our customers grew, so did our footprint.

We expanded to Sturgis in December 2020, followed by our Black Hawk location in July 2022, each one helping us reach more people while maintaining the same quality and service we started with.

In March 2023, we opened our Belle Fourche location. Over time, that store evolved into a combined smoke-and-liquor concept, eventually becoming Smokes N’ Sips — a DBA of Smokes N’ Things. After relocating and refining the experience, Smokes N’ Sips officially opened its new location in June of 2025, offering a unique and expanded selection to the Belle Fourche community.

From our first storefront to our newest expansion, our mission has remained the same: deliver great products, fair prices, and exceptional customer service.
